Donald Paul “Red” Purvis, 54, died Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at his residence. Donald was born on June 15, 1964 in Florence County, son of Myrtie I. Beard Purvis and the late Willie Scurry Purvis. Surviving are his mother, Myrtie I. Purvis of Lake city; sister, Mary Ann Love of Lake City; and stepbrother, Roy McElveen of Lake City.
