Weslee Ben Allington April 14 1986 – December 8 2018 Our most favorite son, Weslee Ben Allington, age 32 returned home to his Heavenly Father, on Sat December 8, 2018. Weslee was born April 14, 1986 in Ogden, Utah to Scott and Jan Allington, his parents pride and joy. Not only was he a son but a brother Scott never had.
He was a busy and fun little boy. He grew up fast always helping us with his older sister Ashlee. He served her continuously and lovingly until the day he went home, never complaining.
Throwing her on his back, carrying her up and down flights of stairs and just being the best little/big brother a girl could ask for. When Weslee was 11 yrs old, his side kick little sister Baylee came along. He really wanted a little brother so he would dress her up as such.
They were inseparable. Our children were fondly called the “3 Amigos” because of their closeness and playfulness with one another. Weslee attended and graduated from Roy High School where he excelled in baseball and football.
He recently graduated from Stevens Henager College with a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, and secured his dream job with Ivanti Software. Yes my handsome, athletic son became a nerd. Weslee married Jessica Green on May 15, 2010.
From their marriage came the two most beautiful and cherished children in all the land. Jagger Scott and Cambree Lace which were their Daddy’s whole world. He lived each day wanting nothing more than to be with them.
Weslee and Jessica were later divorced. Weslee would light up any room he walked into. His smile was contagious.
He was such a jokester. At a recent cousins party, he gave them all nicknames. Brooke-Coolcat Teach, Bradi-Daisy Maid, Jodi-Queeny, Jami-Poopsy, Jon-Slick, Ashlee-Wheels, Shae-Ponygirl, BJ-Hollywood, Wes-Dreamboat (because he is ridiculously good looking), Paige-Nannymac, Ryane-Peewee, Jayden-Tiny, and Baylee-Babycuz.
And most importantly the original gangster Gramma Elaine-Snowfro. Weslee absolutely loved and adored his cousins and family. Weslee was preceded in death by Granpa Ben (whom he was named after), Uncle Ryan Redden (whom he was so alike), and his cousin Derek Beyeler.
Weslee is survived by his children, Jagger (6) and Cambree (4) his parents, 2 loving sisters, Ashlee and Baylee, his little buddy “Diesel the Puppy”, Grandparents Elaine Allington, Kent and Betty Redden, and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, amazing friends and an entire Softball family. A special thank you to Jared Davis (Mibospi Recovery) who was not just a great friend but a lifeline for so long through Weslee’s recovery. Also a special thank you to Willow Tree Recovery and all his amazing friends who are such a huge impact on each other’s lives.
