Obituary for Wesley Wiley Wesley L. Wiley, 83, of Grifton, passed away on March 18, 2018. He was born on June 5, 1934 in Pitt Co., NC to Alton and Effie Manning Wiley. Wesley was preceded in death by both parents and a brother, John Wiley.

He served proudly in the U.S Navy and retired from E.I. DuPont after 30+ years of service. He enjoyed time with his family and was a member of the local Moose Lodge. Wesley is survived by his daughter, Debra Houston and husband, Phil, of Greenville; his longtime companion, Faye Carter, of the home and one sister, Linda Williams and husband, Robert, of Grifton.

He also leaves behind to cherish his memory three special grandchildren, Philip Houston and wife, Rebecca, Christopher Houston and wife, Brittany and Elizabeth Dawson and husband, Nick, as well as four precious great grandchildren, Paige, Reese and Wyatt Houston and Owen Dawson. He will also be missed by his special pets, Bud and Prissy. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 24th from 1-2pm at Farmer Funeral Service-Ayden.

A Graveside Service will follow the visitation at Evergreen Memorial Estates in Grifton at 2:30pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial contribution to Ronald McDonald House, 529 Moye Blvd. , Greenville, NC 27834.
