Obituary for Wilhelmina “Minnie” Catherina Kollmeyer Wilhelmina “Minnie” Catherina Kollmeyer, age 92, of Glen Carbon, Illinois died at 5:02 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at Meridian Village in Glen Carbon. Wilhelmina was a homemaker. She was born July 28, 1925, in Heerlen, The Netherlands the daughter of the late Teunis & Alida Lammers.

Wilhelmina married Roy Kollmeyer on November 9, 1946, in East St. Louis, Illinois. He preceded her in death on June 20, 2004. She is survived by 1 son, David Kollmeyer of Springfield, Missouri; 2 daughters, Elaine Klaus of Edwardsville and Kathleen VanVleet & husband Jim of Eureka, California; 4 grandchildren, Nathan Klaus & wife Joyce of Culloden, GA, Jeffrey Klaus of Edwardsville, Kristina Flowers & husband Ryan of Eureka, and Nicholas VanVleet of Arcata, CA; 1 great-grandson, Dale Flowers; and a host of nieces & nephews.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Edwardsville where she attended & volunteered faithfully. In previous years she was a member of the Edgemont Bible Church in East St. Louis and a member of the International Club in Collinsville, an excellent seamstress, and a wonderful cook. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Friday, April 27, 2018, at the First Presbyterian Church in Edwardsville.

Services will follow at 11 a.m. Friday at the church with Rev. Dr. John Hembruch & Rev. Joy Myers officiating.

Burial will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis. Memorials may be given to Presbyterian Women or Partners for Pets. Weber & Rodney Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
