William Allen Kelly, age 84, of Elwood, passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Aperion Care in Kokomo following a brief illness. He was born on December 14, 1934 in Monongahela, Pennsylvania to the late Wayne and Jennie (Curdie) Kelly. On June 26, 1976 he married the love of his life Coralee (Jones) Kelly.

William served in the United State Air Force for more than 23 years. During his time in the service he was certified as a Small Arms Marksman. Following his time in the Ar Force, William worked at Ford Aero Space in Florida where he was a Logistics Engineer for several years before his retirement.

He was a member of Elwood V.F.W. and the Elwood American Legion. He loved planes and military history and enjoyed playing Bingo on Tuesdays at the Elwood V.F.W. William loved to talk to everyone and never met a stranger. William is survived by his loving wife, of 43 years, Coralee Kelly of Elwood, 4 daughters, E’Leisa (Jack) Short of OR, Michele (Joe) Becker of Elwood, Eugenia (Tom) Bruce of Utah, and Lisa Kelly of FL, 3 sons, Allen Kelly of VA, Michael (Darlene) Kelly of FL,and Mark (Cheryl) Kelly of FL, 14 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, brother, Robert Kelly, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne H. Kelly, and Jennie Kelly. Funeral service will be at 3:15 pm Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Dunnichay Funeral Home, Elwood and will include full Military Honors by the United States Air Force and members of the Elwood V.F.W. Honor Guard. Visitation will be Saturday, February 23, 2019, 2:30 pm – 3:15 pm, at Dunnichay Funeral Home, 1113 S. Anderson Street, Elwood, Indiana.

Memorial contributions may be made to Southern Care Hospice in Kokomo through the funeral home. Online condolences can be given at www.
