William Bartlett Parks, age 73 of Tifton died Monday January 21, 2019 at his home surrounded by family Memorial Graveside Services will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery at a later date Mr. Parks was born April 18, 1945 in Butler Ga. to the late William J. and Janie D. Bartlett Parks. He served his country in the United States Air Force, later protected the citizens of the Tift Area with the Tifton Fire Department for many years.

Survivors include his wife, Dortha Parks, one son, William B. Parks II, one daughter, Janie Cleghorn, four grandchildren, four great grandchildren, two sisters, Betty Lister and Ann Parks. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers.
