Obituary for William “Bill” D. Pitts William D. Pitts (Bill) passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at the age of 81. Beloved husband to CoraMae (Corky Dykman) Pitts for 58 years. Loving father to Kimberly (Edward) Michowski, Kelly (Kevin) Schultz, and Kristine Patmos.

Cherished grandfather to Bethany (Justin) McDade, Kyle (Jessica) Schultz, Steven (Cynthia) Michowski, Alyssa Patmos, and Bryce Patmos. Great-grandfather to Silas Schultz, Isabelle McDade, and Grayson Michowski. Dear brother to Gerald (Kathy) Pitts.

Bill was devoted to his family and loyal to his friends. He retired after 40 years as an electrician with IBEW Local 252. He served in the Air National Guard.

Bill was an avid bowler, fisherman, hunter, and snowmobiler. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 11 a.m. First Baptist Church, 1110 W. Cross, Ypsilanti. Friends and family are welcome to gather at 10 a.m. Memorial donations can be made in Bill’s name to First Baptist Church.
