Bill Grein 78 passed away on Saturday July 21, 2018 after battling Progressive Supranuclear Pasly, peacefully at home with his family by his side. Services will be held at the Faith Church, 2111 Willow, Urbana, Pastor Marsh Jones officiating on Saturday July 28th 10:00am visitation 11:00 Funeral. Bill was born August 31, 1939 in Urbana, the son of Louis and Rochelle Grein.

Proceeded in death by his parents. Bill is survived by the following: His sisters Linda (Dale) Barcus, Urbana, Joanne Fuqua, Kentucky. And the family members listed below.

Bill married Sandra Jean Hamilton, 1960: daughters, Kim Grein, Mahomet, Peggy (Jack) Driver, St. Joseph, Rochelle Grein (Bob), Champaign, Julie Grein, Urbana In 1996 Bill married Cathy Morgan, and joined families together with her children: Misty (Brad) Vrablic, Homer, Aaron Williams, Champaign and Dustin (Meghan) Williams, South Carolina. Loving Grandfather to: Laquan Grein, West Palm Beach, FL, Clayton Clark, Champaign, Andrew Driver, Tucson, AZ, William “Mason” Driver, St. Joseph, Brennan Grein, Urbana. Step Grandchildren: Marissa (Cordell) Harlin, Homer, Weston Rollings, Urbana, Boston (Sara) Williams, Villa Grove, Keely Williams, Charleston.

Super Great Grandfather to: Landyn Grein Step Great Grandfather to: Bryson, Olivia and Harrison Harlin and Kennedy Williams. Hero to his children and friend to many! Bill worked at the local Donut Shoppe in his early days.

He also worked at the Sullivan Chevrolet dealership with his father as a mechanic. He retired after 34 years at the University of Illinois Mailing Center. Member of the Corvette Club Bloomington Gold, Supported Ducks Unlimited, Member of Faith Crusaders Church, Enjoyed Drag racing, held a Private Pilot’s License, Supporter of the Department of Natural Rerdzt/s, avid hunter and fisherman, enjoyed camping and boating with his family.

Most of all he enjoyed his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the U of I Wild Refuge or Progressive Supranuclear Pasly Foundation. Condolences may offered at www.
