William “Bill”‘s Obituary Funeral services for Mr. William “Bill” Dillon, 54, will be held at 2:30 P.M. on Sunday, February 17, 2019 at Capps Funeral Home Chapel in Tylertown, Mississippi. Brother Shane Freeman will officiate. Mr. Dillon passed away at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi on Wednesday, February 13, 2019.

He was born January 27, 1965 in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Clyde Melvin and Dorothy Louise Dillon. Bill is preceded in death by his father, Clyde Melvin Dillon. Bill was a devoted father to his son and the two had a special bond.

He loved playing the guitar at St. Mark Methodist Church for the music program for 20 plus years. Bill was also a member of the Luckenbach Band, and he also enjoyed spending time with friends and co-workers from Jackson, Mississippi. Survivors include his son Cole Dillon; mother Dot Dillon; brother Barry Dillon; and a host of nieces, nephews, and loving family.

Visitation will be at Capps Funeral Home on Sunday, February 17, 2019 from 12 noon until service time there at 2:30 P.M. and following service until 4 P.M. Hartman-Hughes Capps Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Friends and relatives may sign the on-line guest book at www.
