William “Bill” Valentine, 62, of Springfield, passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2018. He was born on February 22, 1956, in Clinton County, Ohio, the son of the late Raymond and Easter E. (Kerr) Valentine. Bill worked as a machinist his entire career and for the past ten years he was employed in Dayton with First Tool Corporation as Plant Supervisor.

He is survived by his wife of 22 years,… Read More » Shawn (Clark) Valentine, four children: Bill (Melissa) Valentine, David Valentine, Doug (Cricket) Valentine, and Jessica Cameron; 12 grandchildren: Brad, Cade, Bryson, Austin, Cierra, Madison, Audrey, Hailee, Samantha, Madelyn, Brooklyn and Damien; two great grandchildren: Bexley and Xavier; three sisters, five brothers, numerous nieces and nephews, and his dog “Lady”.

He was also preceded in death by his grandson, Aaron, step-son, Carl “Chipper” Hopkins, four sisters, one brother, and his beloved dog, “Angel”. A memorial gathering of friends and family will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2019, from 5-7:00 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME.
