Obituary for William Dequan Warren William Dequan Warren, 37, of Battle Creek, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2019. He was born October 15, 1981 in Battle Creek, the son of William and Mosetta (Warren) West. William graduated from Battle Creek Central High School class of 2000.

He served in the U.S. Marine Corp. and was honorably discharged from an injury after two years of service. William worked in the Defense Department for the Battle Creek Federal Center for 5 plus years.

He attended First Salem Missionary Baptist Church. William enjoyed playing football, basketball, and working with electronics. His greatest joy was spending time with his children and his family.

William had a jovial spirit and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his mother, Mosetta West; fiancée, Ashley Mills; children, DaeJzyana Brown, Ka’Laija Warren, and William Warren, Jr.; siblings, Antonio (Michelle) Warren, Dorreka (Tommy Perry) Nyangweso, and Vanessa Graham; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father William West.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 22nd from 12:00-1:00 PM at Bachman Hebble Funeral Service with a memorial service to immediately follow at 1:00 PM. Burial will be at the Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, MI.
