OBITUARY William L. Neiber July 19, 1943 – January 27, 2019 William L. Neiber, 75, of Rockford passed away Sunday, January 27, 2019 with loving family by his side. William was born on July 19, 1943 in Rockford, the son of Wilbur and Gertrude (Miller) Neiber. He married Jill Anderson in November of 1980.

William worked for Illinois Wilbert Vault and Kelly Williamson. William is survived by his children: Troy Neiber, Bill (Brenda) Neiber, Stefanie (Chuck) Yarber, Todd Neiber and Melissa Neiber; grandchildren: Tiffany, Terry, Kendra, Jordan, Kelsi, Charlie, Timothy, Brielle, Ava, Ashton, Kenzie and Raelyn; great-grandchildren: Jaidyn, Ella, Kendyl, Jackson, Bentley, Lilly, Mason and Alyvia; sisters: Rose (Don) Eddy, Sue (Don) Hitzke and Debbie Neiber; brother Dan (Mecia) Neiber. William was preceded in death by his parents, wife Jill on July 8, 2018, brothers Tom and Terry Neiber.

Service to celebrate William’s life will be 3:00 pm on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Sunset Funeral Home 8800 N. Alpine Road in Machesney Park; visitation for William will be from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm at the funeral home on Saturday. FAMILY William is survived by his children: Troy Neiber, Bill (Brenda) Neiber, Stefanie (Chuck) Yarber, Todd Neiber and Melissa Neiber; grandchildren: Tiffany, Terry, Kendra, Jordan, Kelsi, Charlie, Timothy, Brielle, Ava, Ashton, Kenzie and Raelyn; great-grandchildren: Jaidyn, Ella, Kendyl, Jackson, Bentley, Lilly, Mason and Alyvia; sisters: Rose (Don) Eddy, Sue (Don) Hitzke and Debbie Neiber; brother Dan (Mecia) Neiber. William was preceded in death by his parents, wife Jill on July 8, 2018, brothers Tom and Terry Neiber.
