William’s Obituary William L. “Bill” Hayslett, Jr., 65, of Burgin, husband of Diana Butler Foreman Hayslett died Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at the James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital. Born August 16, 1953 in Harrodsburg, he was the son of the late William L. and Lula Christine Gabhart Hayslett, Sr He retired from his position as Chief Electrician with E.W. Brown after thirty years of service but he never stopped working.

He was a member of the Burgin Christian Church, a lifetime member of the N.R.A and past president of the Burgin Lions Club. Survivors in addition to his wife are, one daughter: Erica (Steven) Lupson of Burgin, one son: William Hayslett, III of Dayton, OH, two sisters: Beverly (Roy Lee) Sanders and Francis (Gary) Cord Searcy both of Burgin, two granddaughters: Allison Paige and Raelee Christine Lupson, two nephews: Chris and Travis Cord, one stepson: Todd Foreman of London, England; four stepdaughters: Tonya Foreman of Durham, NC, Gayla Webb and Suzette Russell both of Lexington and Marla MCCloud of Louisville and several cousins also survive. Funeral services will be conducted, 11:00 A.M., Saturday, February 2, 2019 at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with Rev.

Josh Snyder and Father Peter Doddema officiating. Burial will be in the Burgin Memorial Gardens with Gil Hayslett, Bradley King, Tom Barlow, Jerry Arnold, Gary Arnold and Robert Woosley serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday, February 1, 2019 and after 7:00 A.M. Saturday until the time of service at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home.

While flowers are welcome, memorial contributions may also take the form of donations to Burgin Christian Church, P.O.
