William G. “Bill” Corley, 87, of Owensboro, died on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born on August 13, 1930 in Daviess County to the late Wilson Corley and Helen Roberts Corley. He was retired from General Electric and MPD, was a U.S. Army veteran, and served in the Korean Conflict.

Bill was a member of Seven Hills Baptist Church. After retirement, he was self-employed and owned Corley Enterprises and Poogies Auction. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Joan B. Corley; and siblings, Maxine, Phillip and Freddie.

Survivors include a daughter, Tammie Jones (Jeff); two grandchildren, Makayla Jones and Dedrick Jackson (Jenny); and two great-grandchildren, Kobi Jackson and Dylan Jackson. Visitation is from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory. Graveside services and burial will be private at Elmwood Cemetery.
