Obituary for Yuvoncka Louise Singleton Services for Yuvoncka Louise Singleton, will be held Monday, January 7, 2019 at 11:00 p.m. in the Colonial Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow in the Forest Haven Cemetery in Diboll, TX. Visitation is Sunday from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p. m. at Colonial Mortuary.

Mrs.Yuvoncka Louise Singleton, was born on November 4, 1974 to the parentage of Emelda Baxter and the late Ronald Motley in New Orleans, Louisiana. Yuvoncka resided in New Orleans, Louisiana most of her life and was a graduate of O’Perry Walker High School in New Orleans. At the time of her demise she resident of Lufkin, Texas, where she had attended Angelina College.

She had been an employee of Pinecrest Retirement Facility as Activity Director from which she retired after several years of service. Yuvoncka’s livelihood consisted of several activities she enjoyed. Her favorite past time included cooking and she was an avid hair stylist.

She also loved traveling, eating out and spending quality time with her family and friends. Yuvoncka was of Baptist faith. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

On January 1, 2019, Yuvocka Louise Singleton departed this earthly life in Lufkin ,Texas. Left To Cherish Her Memories Her husband of twenty three years, Don Singleton of New Orleans, Louisiana; Mother, Emelda Baxter Thomas of New Orleans, Louisiana; Children, Donika Degree (Desiree), Donjhané Singleton, Yuvoncka Singleton all of New Orleans, Louisiana; Siblings, Patrick Baxter (Michelle) Ronald Butler, Waddell Thomas (China); A wealth of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and dear friends.
