Zara Gracie Tomac, 86, passed away Wednesday April 25, 2018 at Riverside Care Center. Gracie was born March 15, 1932 to Roy and Estella (Graves) Peterie in Laredo, MO. She graduated from Laredo High School in 1950.

On April 8, 1964 she married Joseph F. Tomac. The couple made sea shell crafts to sell at the craft shows on the weekends, and was an avid collector of angels and decorative plates. In her free time she enjoyed playing bingo, and going to the boat.

But her greatest love was spending time with her family. She was a member of the Immanuel Presbyterian Church. Gracie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 44years, her son Gary Dunlap, and grandson Lance Johnson.

She is survived by her son Joseph (Mary) Tomac of Kansas City, MO, grandchildren; Tanner (Brianna) Tomac, Morgan Tomac, Joey Johnson, Justin Dunlap, Jared Dunlap, great grandsons; Brayden and Bryce Tomac, brothers Leroy “Pete” Peterie, and Eldon “Boo” (Betty) Peterie, and a host of many nieces and nephews and extended family. Visitation will be Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 10:00AM with Funeral Services immediately following at 11:00 AM at the Immanuel Presbyterian Church; 3800 NE Parvin Rd. , Kansas City, MO.

Burial to follow in Terrace Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family requests that memorial contributions go to Immanuel Presbyterian Church. Share online condolences at TerraceParkFuneral.com.
