Obituary for Zella Byers Wilson Zella Byers Wilson, 73, of Elizabethton, passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at Johnson City Medical Center Hospital following a brief illness. She was a daughter of the late Walter Brownlow and Lissie Arnold Walker and was born in Butler, TN. She was preceded in death by her children, her twin sister, her other brothers and sisters and two great-grandchildren.

Ms. Wilson was a homemaker who loved gardening, writing and cooking. She enjoyed listening to Christian music. She was of the Holiness faith.

Those left to cherish her memory include her granddaughters, Ashley Coleman, Elizabeth Grindstaff, Christina Walker, all of Elizabethton; a grandson, Emerson Stines, Jr., of Florida; seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Her special friends, Yvette Bailey and Jackie also survive. A graveside service for Zella Byers Wilson will be conducted on Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at 11:00 AM at the Scalf Cemetery with Rev.

John Perkins officiating. Music will be under the direction of Linda Haynes. Those wishing to attend are invited to meet the family at the cemetery at 10:50 AM on Wednesday.
