Obituary of Zelphia Lett Elder Richardson Zelphia Lett Elder Richardson, 102, of Siler City died Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Siler City Center. Mrs. Richardson was born in Lee County on May 18, 1915 the daughter of Edd and Ida (Womack) Lett. Zelphia was a member of Loves Creek Baptist Church and the owner/operator of Friendly Shopping Grocery Store.

She enjoyed working in her flower and vegetable gardens. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Lane Elder and Wayne Richardson; son, James A. White; parents and brother, Edgar Lett. She is survived by daughters: Peggy Pittman (Leroy) of Gastonia, NC, Georgia E. Trogdon of Little River, South Carolina; son: Tommy Carl Elder of Siler City, NC; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 11:00 Am at Loves Creek Baptist Cemetery, 1745 East 11th Street, Siler City. Smith & Buckner Funeral Home is assisting the family. Online condolences may be made at www.
