She was born July 16, 1925 in Brown City to Edward and Bernice Kalbfleisch. Adah Jean graduated from Brown City High School Class of 1943 and attended Lapeer County Normal.

She married Roy A. Wilcox on June 3, 1947. Adah Jean was housewife and homemaker and had also taught country school for several years. She had been a long time member of Faith Baptist Church in Brown City.

She is survived by 4 children Lois (Joseph) Lancaster, Larry Wilcox, Joan (James) Kaczor and June (Doug) Hodge, 6 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Roy who died in 1996 and, 3 brothers Cleon, Kenneth, John “JE” and a sister Lois. A visitation will be from Sunday from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. and Monday from 10:00 – 11:00 at Faith Baptist Church in Brown City.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday at Faith Baptist Church. Memorials to Lapeer County Medical Care Facility i.e. ”Suncrest “ or the Faith Baptist Church for Missions.
