Obituary for Adele Elenbaas (Yob) ELENBAAS – Adele T. (Yob) Elenbaas, age 79, of Sparta, went to be with her Lord and Savior surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, December 29, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Adele Yob; her brother, Joe (Theresa) Yob; brothers-in-law, Gordon Balcom and James Cordes. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Dick Elenbaas; her children, Jayne (Kim) Williams, Richard Jr. (Michele) Elenbaas, Jerry (Monica) Elenbaas and Natalie (Robert) Andrus; 13 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; sisters, MaryJane Cordes and Lucille Balcom; brother, Charlie (Jackie) Yob; several nieces and nephews.

She was born and raised on the Yob farm in Hesperia. Adele graduated with the class of 1956 from Catholic Central High School. She met her wonderful husband, Dick and went on to raise her beautiful children.

Family and her faith in God continued to be most important throughout her life. Adele loved attending all the area annual church barbeques. She will be deeply missed by her loving family and many dear friends.

The family will receive family and friends at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park, on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 from 2 to 4:00 p.m., and 6 to 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary Service at 7:30 p.m., with Deacon Larry Hoogeboom officiating . A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Adele’s life will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, 425 South State Street, Sparta on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior with Rev. Msgr.

Terrance L. Stewart and Deacon Larry Hoogeboom as celebrants. Interment will be held in Christ the King Catholic Cemetery 8613 Loop Road, Hesperia, MI at 3:00 p.m. In memory of Adele, please consider donations to Holy Family Catholic Church and for Masses.
