Albert J. Cox, 88, of 20881 State Hwy. 198, Saegertown, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at Meadville Medical Center. Albert was born in Meadville, on February 2, 1930, a son of the late Earl and Catherine (Arrington) Cox.

He married Lois Fitzpatrick; she preceded him in death. Albert worked as a laborer doing painting and construction. A Korean War veteran, he served his country from July 28, 1950 until his honorable discharge on August 7, 1953.

Albert is survived by a son Chris Fitzpatrick of Cambridge Springs, eight grandchildren Tavion Fitzpatrick, Jordan Leigh Fitzpatrick, Chris Fitzpatrick, Jr., Simeal Wofford, Derek Glancy, Latavion Fitzpatrick, Neosha Fitzpatrick, Saraya Ann Fitzpatrick, a brother Lawrence Cox and his wife Eva of Dayton, OH, two nieces Cynthia Richardson and Robin Corporal of Dayton, OH. Graveside services will be held at Venango Cemetery at a day and time to be announced. Arrangements are under the direction of STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC.
