Alene “JoAnn” (Vogel) Brzezinski, 84, of Leechburg, PA, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 in her residence. A daughter of the late John Vogel and June (Fiscus) Vogel, she was born December 9, 1933 in Cadogan, PA. JoAnn was a homemaker and graduate of Freeport Area High School.

She was a member of the Kiski Valley Assembly of God in Leechburg. JoAnn enjoyed spending time with her family. Survivors include her two sons, Alan Brzezinski (Denise) of Vandergrift and Keith Brzezinski (Debbie) of Arnold; two daughters, Alana Gipson (Bill) of Leechburg and Toni Rupert (Jay) of Leechburg; five granddaughters, Denise Schaaf (Michael), Tiffany Nix (Jonathan), Kristin Wolverton (Gary), Dara Rupert, Victoria Smith (Benjamin); three great-grandsons; two great-granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Vogel; and a sister, Patricia Hughs. Friends welcomed by her family on Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 3 PM until the time of funeral ceremonies beginning at 6 PM at Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main Street, Leechburg (724-842-1051) with the Reverend Todd R. Pugh officiating. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Kiski Valley Assembly of God, 219 Market St., Leechburg, PA 15656.
