Debra Lynn (Gradwell) Weitz, 64, of Leechburg, PA, passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2018 in her residence. A daughter of the late Thomas F. Gradwell and Lelia L. (Smail) Gradwell, she was born March 30, 1954 in New Kensington, PA. Debra graduated from Leechburg Area High School in 1972.

She had been employed by Leechburg Borough as a meter maid until her retirement in 1980. Debra was a member of Hebron Evangelical Lutheran Church in Leechburg. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, taking road trips, going to North Myrtle Beach and Gettysburg.

She was a pet lover as well. Survivors include her husband of 19 years, Mark W. Weitz of Leechburg, PA; a stepson, Duane Joseph Weitz of Florida; two sisters-in-law, Judy Stein (John) of Lake Wells, FL, and Stella Zack (Olen) of Leechburg, PA; and her dog, Tebow-Era. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Bradley W. McKinstry; a brother, Thomas F. Gradwell III; her dog, Bear; and her granddog, Buddy.

Friends welcomed by her family on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main Street, Leechburg (724-842-1051) where additional visitation will be held from Noon until the time of funeral ceremonies held at 1 PM on Thursday, May 31, with the Reverend Ryan Pusch officiating. Interment following at Evergreen Cemetery, 620 Evergreen Road, Gilpin Twp.
