Alice Lee Douglas Johnson, 92, of Wilson Street, Kannapolis, passed away Friday, September 28, 2018, at Atrium Health-Northeast. She was born, April 20, 1926 in Chester County, SC, to the late Tom Douglas and the late Lula Thomas Douglas. Alice was educated in the South Carolina School System and retired from Fieldcrest Cannon Mills.

She was a member of First Baptist Church, where she had served on the Usher Board, Missionary Department and Pastor’s Aid. Services will be held Thursday, October 4, at First Baptist Church, 1311 E. First Street, Kannapolis. Visitation will be 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM with funeral services at 12:00 PM.

Burial will be Friday, October 5 at 9:00 AM the VA National Cemetery, Salisbury. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Johnson; brothers Eulyses Douglas and Rev. Robert Douglas.
