Allan M. Brinkley, 90, of Belvidere, NJ passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at St. Luke’s Hospital-Warren Campus in Phillipsburg, NJ. Allan was born in LaBelle, FL on January 7, 1929 to the late William and Doris Fresh Brinkley. Allan was a Machinist and Supervisor with Koh-I-Noor Inc. of Bloomsbury, NJ, retiring in 1995.

He proudly served his country in the US Marine Corps. Allan enjoyed gardening, Allan was a member of Calvary Community Church in Harmony Township, NJ where he was an elder and deacon. He participated in Meals on Wheels and was a member of the Marine Corp League, where he was chaplain.

Allan is survived by son, Timothy M. Brinkley and his wife, Georgean of Wilson Borough, PA; daughters, Elizabeth A. Horvath of Wilson Borough and Victoria Skirbst and her husband, Henry of Phillipsburg, NJ; 6 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. Allan was predeceased by his wife of 63 years, Elizabeth Round Brinkley, who passed in 2014; and a brother, William Joseph Brinkley, Jr. A Funeral Service for Allan will be held on Friday, February 15, 2019 at 12pm at Calvary Community Orthodox Presbyterain Church; 4 Old Church Road; Phillipsburg, NJ 08865. A Visitation of Family and Friends will be held from 11am until service time at the church.

Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Rupell Funeral Home, LLC; 465 Memorial Parkway; Phillipsburg, NJ 08865 have been entrusted with the arrangements. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Allan’s name to the Marine Corp League; 1621 Lehigh Street; Easton, PA 18042.
