ALLEN’s Obituary Allen Edward Portzen, 34 years old of Salem, WI, passed away Monday, March 18, 2019 at Advocate Condell Medical Center, Libertyville, IL. He was born December 31, 1984 in Kenosha, WI, the son of Edward L. Portzen, Jr. and Jeannie Koenig. Allen loved to hunt, fish, cook on the grill, and listen to music.

But he especially loved his three daughters and fiancée. They were the most important things in his life. Allen is survived by his fiancée, Dawn Sekich; his three daughters, Allison, Emily, and Kaylee Portzen; his parents, Edward L. Jr. (Charlotte) Portzen and Jeannie Koenig; his brother Jason Portzen and sister, Amy Portzen; his paternal grandmother, Elaine Portzen and paternal step-grandmother, Charlene Portzen; his aunt, Becky Dobbert; and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ausie (Donna) Edwards and his paternal grandfather, Edward L. Portzen, Sr. Funeral Services will be held 1:00PM on Friday, March 22, 2019 at the STRANG FUNERAL HOME OF ANTIOCH, 1055 Main St. Antioch, IL 60002, with visitation beginning at 11:00AM until the start of the service. Interment will immediately follow in Liberty Cemetery, Salem Township, WI. For additional information, call 847-395-4000.
