COLLEEN’s Obituary Colleen Ruby Beushausen, 91 years old of Salem, WI, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2019 at her home. She was born January 21, 1928 in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of the late Albert Earl and Melinda (nèe Cannon) Alexander. On June 5, 1948, Colleen married Philip William Beushausen in Chicago, IL and he preceded her in death on January 6, 1997.

Colleen was a longtime member of Crossview Church, Antioch, IL. She also taught Bible school and loved to crochet and read. Colleen is survived by her three children, Timothy Beushausen, Lois “Kathy” Larsen, Sheri (Jim Izenstark) Alexander; her seven grandchildren, Neille (Chelle) Larsen, Tanya (Don) Williams, Jennifer (Sean Paul) Berube, Jessica (Chris Cappuccio) Heitman, Joshua R. Heitman, Stephen (Nicole) Acker, Danielle Larsen; her 19 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Philip, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Oddsen. Services and interment are private. Arrangements were entrusted to the STRANG FUNERAL HOME OF ANTIOCH, 1055 Main St. Antioch, IL 60002.
