Alvie Reed Peterson, 87, of Gray entered into rest Friday May 10, 2019 at the Life Care Center of Gray. Alvie was born to the late Rosecoe and Flora Peterson. He was retired from the CSX Railroad as a Section Foreman, Track Supervisor after 43 years of dedicated service.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife Omega Peterson; sons Tony (Faye) and David (Sandy) Peterson; brother Albert (Wanda) Peterson; sister Helen (Sam) McQueen; grandchildren Charity Sparks, Tara Blevins, Dylan Peterson, Danielle Dixon. The Peterson family will gather to greet friends and share memories on Monday May 13, 2019 from 12pm-1pm at Tetrick Funeral Services with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 1pm. Alvies’ son Tony Peterson will be conducting the service.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2pm Monday May 13, 2019 at Washington County Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pall bears. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Alvie Reed Peterson please visit our Sympathy Store.
