Alvina “Tiney” Niederhelm, 88, of Gasconade, MO, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2018 at Hermann Area District Hospital, Hermann, Missouri. Alvina was born in Varshall, Missouri on June 27, 1929, a daughter of the late Lloyd & Isabell (Sieg) Lampkin. She was the widow of Donald R. Niederhelm.

They were united in marriage on April 24, 1948, at Gasconade Union Church in Gasconade, Missouri Alvina was a member of Gasconade Union Church, where she also was a member of the Ladies Aid. Alvina is survived by three daughters, Peggy Branson & husband David, of Linn, Missouri; Lisa Baker & husband David, of Jefferson City, Missouri; Deborah McGowen & husband Gary, of Jefferson City, Missouri; a son, Mark Niederhelm & wife Bonnie, of Rhineland, Missouri; by 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a sister Margie Abanathy.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 13th from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, where funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. Burial will be at Gasconade Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Gasconade Union Church. C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
