Amelia Gonzalez May 15, 1923 – December 27, 2018 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Amelia Leal Gonzalez age 95, went to be with the Lord Thursday afternoon, December 27, 2018 at Aurora House surrounded by love of her family. She was a life time resident of Primera and member of a Cameron County Pioneer Family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Gonzalez and siblings, Lupita Turner, Connie Almanza, Maria Gonzalez, Alicia Rocha, Aurorita Leal, Alfredo Leal, Julian Leal, Enrique Leal and Luis Leal.

Survived by her daughter, Rosalinda Hinojosa (Adalberto), grand daughter, Liana Hinojosa, two sisters, Emma Tamez and Beatriz Tamez along with several nieces and nephews to cherish her beautiful memory. The family would like to Thank the Aurora House of Weslaco, TX for their exceptional care and attention for Mom. Visitation will be held on January 1, 2019 from 1 pm to 9 pm with a prayer service of the Holy Rosary to begin at 7 pm in the evening.

Holy Mass of Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday January 2, 2019 at 10:00 am at Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Commital Service will follow to Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, La Feria Arrangements are under the direction of Trinity at Harrison Funeral Home, 1002 East Harrison Ave. Harlingen, Texas 78550.
