Predeceased by his wife, Irene (Horvath) of 59 years. They raised two daughters in Elmwood Park following his Naval tours.

He is survived by his children Michele Prelich and partner Judy Yagiello, and Cindy (Prelich) DeSane. Son in law Ed DeSane, grand children Eddie DeSane and wife Crystal, Jeremy DeSane and wife Marissa. Great grand children Ava, Gianna, and Lia DeSane.

His surviving siblings Barbara (Prelich) Longo, Richard Prelich, Frank Prelich, and Raymond Prelich. He was loved by many nieces and nephews. He was a pipe fitter for the US Navy on the USS WISCONSIN.

Memorial visiting on Monday February 18th, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Patrick J. Conte Funeral Home, Inc., 274 Market Street, Elmwood Park, N.J. 07407. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Andrew’s memory to the Wounded Warrior’s or Disabled American Veterans would be appreciated.
