Angus”Scotty” Bowie Wilson December 12, 1932 – October 25, 2018 Angus”Scotty” Bowie Wilson of Sierra Vista passed away on Thursday, October 25, 2018. Angus was born December 12, 1932 in Glasgow, Scotland to James and Grace Wilson. He served two years in the Royal Air Force, returning to Glasgow and worked as a Master Plumber.

He, along with his wife, Joan, and their two children, immigrated to the United States on February 4, 1962. They lived in Hyattsville, Maryland, and moved to Sierra Vista in 1968, starting his business, Scotty’s Plumbing and Heating, that year. Angus was a talented watercolor artist and was Sierra Vista Artist of the Year in 2005, an honor he was very proud of.

He was one of the founding members and served as President of the Huachuca Art Association and worked to start the annual Art in the Park. He played the clarinet and at one time was a member of a jazz band in Scotland. He was a goalie for a semi-professional soccer team in Scotland and loved talking about his favorite sport.

Angus and Joan were married for 62 wonderful years until her death in January of 2014. They are survived by their son, Stephen (Judy) Wilson of Madison, Alabama; daughter, Lorraine (Kevin) Jorgenson of Sierra Vista; four grandsons, Bryan (Wallis) Jorgenson of Phoenix, Dane Jorgenson of Tucson, Arin Wilson and Jared Wilson both of Madison, Alabama; and five great-grandchildren, Opal Hardie-Jorgenson, Ronan Hardie-Jorgenson, Atticus Hardie-Jorgenson of Phoenix, Cameron Wilson and Claire Wilson of Madison, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Grace Wilson, and sisters, Stella, Sadie, and Grace.

He will be forever missed by his family. Memorial Service will be at Hatfield Funeral Home on Friday, November 9, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Huachuca Art Association in Sierra Vista.
