Anita Turner Lara, 91, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 21, 2018 in her Itasca home. Anita was born on November 8, 1926 in Sebastian, Texas. She was the daughter of Luis and Tomasita Turner, who preceded her in death as well as her long-life husband Richard E. Lara.

Anita is survived by her children, Juanita Robles, Yolanda Saldierna and her husband Patricio, Rebecca Botello, Luis Suarez, Richard Lara Jr and his spouse Edna, and Ralph Lara and his spouse Jeanette; 20 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and numerous great-great grandchildren.
