Obituary for Ann Young Ann (Hoban) Young, of Manchester and formerly of Hudson and Nashua, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 11, 2018, the day of her 90th birthday, with her loving family by her side. Born in Newton, MA, she was the daughter of the late William and Annie (Brennan) Hoban. Ann was predeceased by her husband, George J. Young as well as by a brother, Paul Hoban.

Ann retired from Bay Bank following over 30 years in the banking profession. She was a Life Member of the DAV Auxiliary where she held the position of Past State Commander. Ann volunteered for many years at the VA Hospital in Manchester, where she took great pride in assisting veterans.

She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, playing BINGO and solving word search puzzles. Her loving family includes two daughters, Ann Kelley and her husband Brian of Manchester, NH, Arleen Doucette and her husband Ernie of Hudson, eight grandchildren, Chrissy, David, Michael, Jimmy, Patty, Anne-Marie, Emily and Brian, as well as nine great grandchildren. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, April 17th from 5pm – 8pm in the DUMONT-SULLIVAN FUNERAL HOME, 50 FERRY ST.

, IN HUDSON. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 18th at 9:30am in St. Patrick Church, 29 Spring St., in Nashua. All may please meet at church.

Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Nashua.
