Obituary for Anna Marie “Cookie” Buckley On September 27, 2018, Anna passed away at Vassar Brothers Medical Center after a short illness. She was born on October 1, 1942 in Bridgeport, CT to James Franklin Weir and Viline Wiand Weir. On June 18, 1961 she married the love of her life, William Arthur Buckley, who has been waiting since June 2015 for her to join him in the heavens for eternity.

Anna was a foster parent for many years, retiring in 1989. She is survived by her daughter, Anna Marie Riccoboni and her son-in-law, Gino; her grandsons, Peter Vincent and Anthony William Riccoboni; her two sisters, Marion T. Baxter of Wappingers Falls and Margaret V. Quick of Beacon; her brother, James F. Weir of Billings, NY; several nieces and nephews. As per Cookie’s wishes cremation will take place and services will be private.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, www. cancer.org/donate. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Patrick J. Halvey of Riverview Funeral Home by Halvey, LLC.
