Anna Margaret Harmon Ann Harmon, of Renton, died June 15th, 2018 at the Highlands Best Care in Renton, WA. She was Born August 19th, 1945 in Richardton, North Dakota to Erma and Walter Hirning. She married Rodney Eggers November, 1963 in North Dakota where they raised their three children, Brodean Eggers (Karen) of Port Lions, Alaska, Trent Eggers (Lory) of Mott, ND, and Jolan Eggers of Fargo, ND.

Ann lived in Velva, ND where her and Rodney owned Rod’s Fairway Foods and the R&A Trustworthy Hardware Store for multiple years. Ann also ran Ann’s Plant Shack and sold flowers every summer. Ann also received her CNA License and worked as a nurse at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Velva, ND until the summer of 1990.

Prior to Ann leaving the nursing home, her husband of 26 years had suddenly passed away. In 1990 she met Thomas Lee Harmon. Shortly after she moved to Renton, Washington and remarried April 26th, 1991.

She worked as a CNA in Renton, WA for many years and retired from the Valley Medical Center. Ann and Tom enjoyed spending time at their lake cabin at Strawberry Lake in ND. They also bought a vacation home in Avondale, AZ where they spent most of the winter months until Ann started getting very ill.

She had been battling with Alzheimer’s and multiple other illnesses which took a major toll on her life. Ann fought a long and tough battle throughout her last 10 years. She is survived by her immediate family; her husband, Thomas Harmon of Renton, WA, four sons, Brodean Eggers of Port Lions, Alaska, Trent Eggers of Mott, ND, Brian Harmon of West Richland, Washington, Roger Harmon of West Richland, Washington, and one daughter, Jolan Eggers of Fargo, North Dakota.

She is also survived by her mother, Erma Hirning of Estes Park; a sister, Betty Bowersox of Gillette, Wyoming; a brother, Robert Hirning of Estes Park; nine grandchildren; Brandon Eggers, Chelsie Eggers, Jonah Eggers, Yuonnah Marshall, Alycia Schmidt, Logan Eggers, Tyler Eggers, Mason Harmon, and Austin Harmon; and three great grandchildren; Makiyah, Malieyah, and Avionnah of Fargo, ND. She is preceded in death by her sister Doris Long and her stepfather, Ruben Hirning.
