Our beloved Keith Matthew McLain was born on July 13, 1959 in Baltimore, Maryland. He passed away on June 24, 2018. Keith is the loving and adoring father of Victoria Suzanne McLain.

Preceded in death by his parents, James Leven McLain, Jr. and Kathryn Mary Paul McLain, Keith was their fourth son and sixth child. Keith is dearly loved by his surviving siblings: Jimmy (Vicki), Paul (Robbie), Victoria (Dave), John and Martha (Jeff). Keith was a passionate and devoted father to Victoria, the light of his life.

They resided together in Issaquah while Keith was busy designing a house for the next stage in his life, as well as planning to purchase a second home in San Luis Obispo. Keith leaves behind Ashley Saunders, his devoted friend of 45 years, and his loving girlfriend, Lori Salmonsen. Keith was a self-made man in the truest sense.

He began accumulating properties after a summer job on the Alaska Pipeline at the tender age of 18. One thing led to another and eventually Keith became a real estate broker, an unusually remarkable accomplishment given his lifelong struggle with dyslexia. Keith was a life lover.

He enjoyed spending time with Victoria, kayaking, hiking, farmers markets, live music, boating, politics, gardening and nature. We will love you forever, Keith. Funeral : St. Jude’s Catholic Church, 10526 166th Ave NE, Redmond, WA 98052 July 14, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Private Burial: Immediately following funeral.

Celebration of Life immediately following service at the home of Ashley Saunders. 23921 S.E. 160th St. Issaquah, WA 98027 All are welcome and encouraged to join us for food, beverages, (plenty of beer! ), music, and reminiscing.
