Anne J. “Jackie” Powell, 87, of Marietta, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, January 20, 2019. Jackie was a longtime resident of Cobb County and a 1949 graduate of Marietta High School. A full-time homemaker, she also enjoyed working at Rich’s department store at Cobb Center.

Jackie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles W. “PeeWee” Powell, who passed away just four weeks earlier on December 23, 2018. Jackie is survived by three children, son Michael Powell and wife Victoria, daughter Marta Powell and partner Marnie, and son Mark Powell; grandchildren Stephanie Farnham, Matthew Powell, Amanda Powell, and Emily Powell; and great-grandchildren Hunter Farnham and Owen Powell. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
