Anniereen “Ann” Theresa Loup Gelpi passed away peacefully on January 26, 2019 at the age of 79 years. Beloved wife of Clayton “Clay” Gelpi. Daughter of the late Regina Richoux Loup and Clarence J. Loup, Sr. Sister of Gloria Loup LeBlanc (the late Jay) and Clarence J. Loup, Jr. (Judy).

Sister-in-law of Merle Gelpi Franchini (the late Joseph) and Allen Gelpi (Mary). Godmother of Karen LeBlanc Valence (Randy). Aunt of Algee “Joey” LeBlanc, Jr. (Paula), Cindy Loup, Clarence J. Loup, III, Carla Loup Greene (Todd) and Corrie Loup Spano (Marshall).

Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Ann was a longtime employee of Avonale Shipyards and Winn-Dixie Supermarkets. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 7040 Lapalco Blvd.

, Marrero, LA on Friday, February 1, 2019 from 9am to 11am. A Funeral Mass will follow in the funeral home chapel. Interment Gate of Heaven Mausoleum in Westwego.
