Arlene P. (Minor) Lewandowski, 82, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, March 10, 2019, with her loving family at her side. Born March 20, 1936, daughter of the late Walter and Helen (Guzik) Minor, she was a graduate of Chicopee High School and a communicant of the Basilica of St. Stanislaus, Bishop & Martyr. Arlene retired after many years of service as manager and treasurer of the Spalding Employees Credit Union, and also served on its Board of Directors.

Arlene was predeceased in 1982 by her beloved husband, Fred “Sparky” W. Lewandowski, Sr., and in 2005 by her eldest son, Fred W. Lewandowski, Jr She is survived by her loving sons, Larry J. Lewandowski of Chicopee and Ronald J. Lewandowski and wife Tara of Easthampton; cherished grandchildren, Kristopher, Megan, Nicole and Sydney; great-grandchildren, Kylie, Kelsie, Kassie, Dylan and Madelyn; and daughter-in-law, Monica Lewandowski. She was predeceased by her brother, Edward W. Minor.

Her family would like to thank the Holyoke VNA and Hospice Life Care, especially their mother’s direct caregivers, Natalya and Luz, for the compassionate care and attention given to her. Funeral services for Arlene will be held Friday from Kozikowski Funeral Home, 565 Front St., Chicopee, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30AM in St. Stanislaus Basilica. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.

Calling hours are Friday from 8:30-10:15AM. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
