Arlene V. Calaman, age 90, of Carlisle, passed away peacefully Friday, April 20, 2018 at Cumberland Crossings. She was born on March 4, 1928 in Carlisle to the late Andrew and Edna (Cornman) Mountz and was the widow of Harold Calaman, who passed on October 9, 2013 after 59 years of marriage. Arlene previously worked as a housekeeper for the Dickinson School of Law.

She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and loved spending time with her family. Arlene is survived… Read More » by her son, Gary Calaman and his wife Patricia of Carlisle and her grandchildren, Brian and Kevin Calaman. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by siblings, Ralph Mountz, Hazel Schlusser, Pearl Gillaugh, Ethel Myers and Florence Albright.

Funeral services for Arlene will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 West Trindle Road, Carlisle. Interment will follow at Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens. There will be a viewing at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the time of services.
