Arrie L. “Lori” Thompson October 19, 1959 – January 25, 2019 Share this obituary Upload Photo| View/Sign Guest Book| Send Sympathy Card Arrie Lorraine “Lori” (Hill) Thompson was born October 19th, 1959 in Atlanta, GA and passed away January 25th, 2019 in Osage Beach, MO. She is preceded in death by her mama, Voncyle Margaret (King) Hill, and her daddy, Holly Hill. She is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, John Thompson, and their three sons Stephen Thompson (Christie), Caleb Thompson (Katie), and Levi Thompson; her two grandbabies Dylan and Olivia; her three sisters Beth Millirons, Debi Patterson, and Kathy Hill; as well as many other family members and friends.

Lori was a force with which to be reckoned; she loved hard and none were left to wonder what she thought or how she felt. It was important to her to care for others and help when she could. This holds true even in death, as she was able to give the gift of sight as an organ donor.

Lori was a free-spirit that spent her days caring for her sidekick, Sam the dog, spoiling her beloved grandbabies, making spaces beautiful and comforting, cruising the lake on the boat, and supporting the Local #41. Lori loved the ocean, and one of her favorite places was Gulf Shores, Alabama, which she frequently visited with her sisters and husband. At a time yet to be determined, we will fulfill Lori’s wish to spread her ashes in the ocean near Gulf Shores.

In place of a funeral ceremony her family will hold a celebration for a wonderful, loving and kind person, in the party style she would love. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
