Aurelia’s Obituary SPARTA – Aurelia “Rea” Blair, 100, of Sparta, passed away at 1:10 pm, Friday, February 8, 2019 at Randolph County Care Center, Sparta. Aurelia was born in Spencer County, Indiana, on January 31, 1919, the daughter of Paul and Blanche Bosler Jochim. She married Harold Blair on September 6, 1941 in Louisville, Kentucky.

He preceded her in death in October of 1981. Aurelia was a Retired Cook from Sparta Senior Center and a Homemaker. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Sparta, St. Ann’s Altar Sodality, and VFW Post #2698 Auxiliary, Sparta.

Mom loved to quilt, play bingo and play cards. Aurelia is survived by children, Sue (Tom) Hodge of Sparta, Elaine (David) Leming of Sparta, Paul Blair of Robinsonville, MS, and Connie Blair (Jim) of Sebastian, FL; granddaughters, Rhea (Steve) Baxter and Christy (Kevin) Toben; great grandchildren, James, Anna & Mary Toben; sisters, Gene Stagnitto of Endwell, NY, Charlotte Gasser of Sparta, and Florence Borman of Carmel, IN; and several nieces and nephews. Aurelia was also preceded in death her Parents; two brothers; and one sister.

Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Sparta, with Father Vincent Mukasa officiating. Burial will follow at Caledonia Cemetery, Sparta. Visitation will be at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church Tuesday from 6 pm until 8 pm with rosary recited at 7:30 pm, and then on Wednesday from 8 am until 10 am.

Memorials may be given to Masses or Randolph County Care Center Auxiliary.
