Barbara Baxter DiDio, longtime resident of Montgomery entered into rest on Sunday, March 11, 2018. She was 79. Daughter of the late Vito and Lucille (Walconovich) DiDio, Barbara was born in Bronx, NY on October 14, 1938.

Barbara was a waitress for the 84 Diner in Fishkill for over 25 years, where she greeted everyone with a smile and a song. She cared for all God’s creatures, loved nature, gardening and fishing. Barbara was greatly loved by family and will be missed every day.

Survivors include two sons, William (Lucy Clark) Baxter of Cape Coral, FL and Anthony (Debbie) Baxter of Gardiner, NY; two daughters, Linda Livingstone of Newburgh and Margo Schisano of Cornwall; two sisters, Theresa Giancaspro of FL and Maria Laske of NM; six grandchildren, Michelle Lynch, Michael Livingstone, Daniel Lynch, Stephen Livingstone, Daniel Baxter and Anthony Baxter, Jr. and five great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Barbara is predeceased by her longtime companion, Gary Kniffin. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at White, Venuto and Morrill Funeral and Cremation Service, 188 North Plank Road (Rt.

32), Newburgh, NY. A Funeral Service will take place at 7:00 pm at the Funeral Home. Private cremation will take place at Cedar Hill Crematory.
