Barbara G. Adams, of Sandlick, passed away Monday, November 12, 2018 at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. Barbara was the daughter of the late Sam and Mary Tyree Baker. She was born May 15, 1954 being 64 years, 5 months, and 27 days of age at the time of her passing.

Barbara was the widow of Burtis Adams. She was a member of the Calvary Temple Church of God. Surviving is 3 sons: Ronnie (Oshie) Adams of Rockhouse, J.B. Adams of Sandlick, and Kevin (Melissa) Adams of Jeremiah; 4 grandchildren: Dylan Adams and mother April Baker, Alayna Adams and mother Misty Smallwood, Isaiah Adams and Whitlea Adams; 2 brothers: Jimmy Baker of Whitesburg and Michael Baker and ex wife Lula Baker of Little Dry Fork; 6 sisters: Joyce Wilson of Cowan, Linda Phelps of Brookeville, Ohio, Evelyn Burnett of Wichita, Kansas, Alma Adams of Whitesburg, Carolyn Cornett of Little Cowan, and Janet Fields of Whitesburg along with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Barbara was preceded in death by 1 brother: Forrester Baker; 2 sisters: Margaret Kincer and Hazel Frazier. Funeral: 1:00 O’clock P.M. Friday, November 16, 2018 at the Calvary Temple Church of God with Conard Profitt, Bill Conn, and John Conn officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Calvary Temple Church of God.

Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery at Whitesburg, Kentucky.
