Barbara Gail Pearson, 60, of North Vernon, passed away at 7:25 p.m. on March 13, 2019 at St. Vincent Jennings Hospital. Born November 15, 1958 in Hazard County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of John and Loretta Bush Crawford. She attended Jennings County High School.

She worked for Metaldyne for 15 years before retiring in 2009. She also worked as a daycare provider from her home for 15 years. She was a member of the Smiling Senior Citizens and enjoyed crocheting, baking, cooking, and sewing.

She is survived by her daughters, Stormy Schachel and Danielle (Patrick) Williams, both of North Vernon; brother, Jimmy Crawford of Columbus; sister, Sandra (Matthew) Casey of North Vernon; and grandchildren, Shebie Manning, Hallie Manning, Johnathan Armstrong, and Chase Schachel, all of North Vernon. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Bobby Crawford; and sister, Missy Eglin. A funeral service for Ms. Pearson will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, March 18, 2019 at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev.

Dale Boyd officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Monday, March 18, 2019. Burial will be in Butlerville Cemetery in Butlerville.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to help cover expenses.
