Beecher Johnson, Jr. age 72 of Rogersville passed away Monday (5/27/19) at his residence. He was a past master of the Overton Masonic Lodge #5, Hasson Order of Eastern Star, and The Jericho Shrine. He retired as a 1rst Sgt.

from the US Army with 23 ½ years of service. He served tours in Vietnam and Desert Storm. He was preceded in death by wife; Peggy Johnson, step-son; Robert Roberson, parents; Beecher and Loraine Bishop Johnson, mother and father-in-law; J.S. and Norma Jean Woods, sisters; Joann Johnson and Ann Lawson.

He is survived by daughters; Shelby Waye (Austin), Pam Coleman, Lorriane Johnson, son; Morgan Johnson (Autumn), grandchildren; Jameson Johnson, Mason and Axton Johnson, Liam Waye. Hunter Coleman and Hadley Reese, brother; Mack Ray Johnson (Michael Kern), sisters; Loretta Bloomer, Brenda Eidson (Carl), and Cathy Beck (Dudley), several nieces and nephews and special nephew; Frankie Olson. The family will receive friends Thursday (5/30/19) from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Christian-Sells Funeral Home.

Masonic services will follow at 7:00 pm followed by funeral services with Preacher Greg Fletcher officiating. Military graveside services will be 10:00 am Friday (5/31/19) at the Family Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.
