Gregory Alan Baker, age 63, of Thorn Hill, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2019, at Cornerstone Village in Johnson City. He was a son of the late Renford and Loretta Vaughn Baker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a niece, Sheridan Edwards.

Mr. Baker proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy and he enjoyed fishing, UT sports, especially women’s softball. He was recently saved and is now resting in Jesus’ arms. His sense of humor will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his loving sisters, Jennifer Hite and husband Jimmy, and Sharon Edwards and fiance Corby Rowenhorst; brother, Alton Satterfield; nephew, Austin Edwards;and great niece, Molly Shay Edwards. The graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday in McKinney Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Calvin McCray officiating.
