Shandi Alise Burton, 29, of Rogersville, passed away May 12, 2019 at Holston Valley Medical Center, from complications related to her recent heart surgery. She was born in Chattanooga on November 8, 1989, to Butch Burton and the late Lisa Berfield. Shandi was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Joy Herron; husband, Matt Herron; mother, Lisa Berfield, and grandmother, Bonnie Ridley.

She is survived by daughters, Kylee and Madison Herron; father, Butch Burton; grandparents, Harry and Judy Burton; half-sister, Brandi Bishop; half-brother, Jeffrey Berfield; niece, Sophia Bishop; step-dad James Bishop; and numerous other family members. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Saturday, May 18, 2019, at Christian-Sells Funeral Home in Rogersville. A Celebration of Life service will be held immediately following.
