Rev. Dennis Hill, age 66, went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 20, 2019. Dennis was a member of West View Missionary Baptist Church, loved to preach for the Lord, was an avid Tennessee Vols fan, enjoyed taking care of his flowers, loved fishing and watching Atlanta Braves baseball.

He also loved to tell stories about deer hunting, which they never got a deer. He loved his grandchildren with all his heart. He loved playing in the monkey trees with Taylor and fishing with Jayden.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Marcie Hill; and son, Jeremy Keith Hill. He is survived by his loving wife, Ilia Sue Hill; daughter, Nicky Denise Ward (Gregg); granddaughter, Taylor Ward; grandson, Jayden Ward; sisters, Leeanne Henson, Tracy Bays (Windell), Amy Scalf (Denny), April Bedwell (Jim); brother, Anthony Hill, Sr. and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm – 7:30 pm Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at West View Missionary Baptist Church.

Funeral services will follow at 7:30 pm with Rev. Keith Osborne and Rev. Ray Mullins officiating.

Graveside service will be at 11:00 am Thursday, May 23, 2019 at Highland Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www. christiansells.com.
